Analysis paralysis is defined as an inability to make a decision due to over-thinking a problem. I've planned to rebuild this site as my "professional" website for months but I get stuck on deciding. I've made the decision to work in the open just to get something on the screen. So please pardon the basic layout and design of the site as I work on and decide all the things.

My personal preference for website design leans toward brutalism (opens in a new tab), but I find myself in conflict with trying to make a professional site for myself. Current thinking is to build a traditional developer layout, heavily inspired by Fluent 2 (opens in a new tab). I don't want to use React though so it basically just boils down to styles on my statically generated site.

I use VS Codium (opens in a new tab) to write the code and posts for the site. I use the static site generator 11ty (opens in a new tab) to build the site and it's hosted on Capsul.org (opens in a new tab). The code for the build files is hosted on Codeberg (opens in a new tab). I feel my development stack is a lot different from most people working in the Microsoft space.
