My Review
This is the 2nd time watching Discovery and I think I was unfair on my initial watch. I was judging on how much like ST:TNG it was but this is a different, new thing and I really liked it. I really like the characters and while the story telling is different than ST:TNG, it's still good in it's own right.
Looking forward to starting season 3!

@michaelharley (opens in a new tab) this was my take too. better than i remember, but the upcoming AI AI! bits still seem a bit rough and I forgot completely how much Pike there was.
@michaelharley (opens in a new tab) I also learned recently, that I actually like ENT season 1 and 2. Maybe I should give this one another shot as well.
