Re: Passkeys are a trap. Do not use them.
I'm skeptical of passkeys because I use a third-party password manager instead of Google's, and I worry about vendor lock-in and attestation becoming a lever for the big tech duopoly. But I'm trying them anyway with KeePassXC and KeePassDX synced via Syncthing to see if my concerns actually hold up.
