Titans football is back!

Well, not really but almost! It's preseason and I've watched a preseason game!
For the past couple years, watching Titans games has been equivalent to self-flagellation. The team has been bad, and there hasn't been much cause for optimism. It's felt like we've been a bad organization.
Since 2022, we're tied with the Arizona Cardinals for the worst record in the league with a 19-49 record, we're on our 4th head coach and 4th GM, and we just finished back-to-back 3-win seasons. It doesn't seem like the people at the top know what the heck they're doing.
Last year was QB Cam Ward's rookie season, and by all accounts, he has the potential to be the real deal, a franchise QB. Let's hope the Titans don't break him. I'm not sure the team has demonstrated they know how to develop young players. This coaching staff and front office are all completely new to our organization, so who knows what they can do? I guess we'll see.
We drafted WR Carnell Tate with the #4 overall pick in this year's NFL Draft back in April. Everyone seems to expect him to contribute to the team's success immediately. I'm not a talent scout, but watching him run routes, even I can see there's something different about it. I hope that translates for Ward, Tate and the Titans' ability to win games.
In addition to our high draft picks over the past two years, the team has made a lot of free agency signings, especially this year. I predict and hope that the team can win 6-8 games. That would be quite an improvement over back-to-back 3-win seasons.
Go Titans!
