If I were smarter, I'm sure this book would be a 4.8 but my dumb brain only got about 3 stars worth of info from it.
Quarks, string theory, quantum mechanics, imaginary time... I just couldn't understand these topics as I felt like I just didn't have any point of reference at all.
I enjoyed the parts I did understand... especially black holes and the fact that our sun is a 2nd or 3rd generation star.
